PANICO ZINE ISSUE 01 is the latest and most important work in progress by PANICO PROJECT. If you are here you are probably not an artist already working on our issue 01. You may be just a wandering soul curious to know what’s going on behind the scenes. Our team is currently working with the artist who were either invited by the direction to participate or who showed up to PANICO OPEN CALL. This project is now at its late-initial stage: everything theoretical and structural is ready, and the team will start producing and receiving the actual material soon.
The main theme of the issue is toxic positivity, along with a lot of sub-themes that orbitate around it. You will see and read critiques about social issues and norms, a lot of work about introspection and self-awareness, queerness, nonconformism… You will read a lot of written works too: monologues, poems, short ironic texts and more.
The artists working on this will be 7-10 more or less, so you will see a lot of different artistic points of view, a lot of stories are going to be told, you won’t be disappointed.
The zine will be printed in A4 and the average number of pages estimated is 70. There will be a possibility of pre-order in the future, be sure to not miss it! If you’re an artist who is not taking part of this first issue, beware: there will be a lot more in the future, your chance will come.
